About Training with Emily:
Every subtle movement in the rider's body is interpreted by the horse as a message.  It is essential for the rider to have the correct form and function to communicate fairly and to achieve a peaceful, yet dynamic partnership.  Emily focuses on biomechanics of the rider in order to allow the rider to match the athletic ability of their horse.
She encourages all students to strive for and achieve their goals within any facet of riding.

Emily keeps a regular show schedule and would love to have you join her!

Emily began riding dressage at the age of 8 at Sandy Howard's American Sporthorse in Watsonville, CA.  While Sandy has had the greatest influence in Emily's riding education, other trainers that she has worked with include Joan Bolton (Santa Fe, NM), Mary Wanless (U.K.) and Tanya Vik (Petaluma, CA).
